Honey Run Apiaries and Busy B Realty are pleased to announce the 2016 Young Beekeeper Essay contest!.
Open to all youth ages 10 to 17 in Ohio. Deadline for entry is April 8th 2016. Essay must be at least 200 words on one of the following topics:
- Why do you want to be a beekeeper?
- The benefits of Honeybees.
1st Prize: Complete medium hive body bee hive kit, tools, protective gear, “The Backyard Beekeeper” and BEES!
2nd Prize: Complete medium hive body bee hive kit and “The Backyard Beekeeper”
3rd Prize: Book, “The Backyard Beekeeper”
