This is the first issue of a regular information sheet bringing editors around the world up to date with what is going to happen at Apimondia 2007 being held in Melbourne from 9 – 14 September, 2007. Editors are invited to use any of our material within for their beekeeping magazines, newsletters or websites.

If you are no longer the Editor can you please email me with the correct name and email address to send these information sheets to. If you do not wish to receive these information sheets, please let me know and I will remove you from the database.

would like to congratulate on hosting such a friendly and successful Apimondia. It is our aim to be better than Dublin and make 2007 a memorable occasion for the world’s beekeepers. We have preliminary information on our website www.apimondia2007.com . If Editors have specific questions, please feel free to submit them and I will provide an answer for you.

After the success of the World Honey Show in , has decided to hold another World Honey Show. Entry details will appear on the website at a later date once all aspects have been finalised.

Australians are renowned the world over for our ability to be able to work our bees for 12 months of the year in some parts of . Maybe you know a beekeeper here in that you have corresponded with for many years. Apimondia presents you with an excellent opportunity to come and meet these beekeepers while at the same time meeting beekeepers from all over the world.

So mark Apimondia 2007 in Melbourne in your diary and come and have a great time.
