Western Pennsylvania Beekeeping Seminar
February 17th and 18th
The Western Pennsylvania Beekeeping Seminar is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 17 and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at Penn State-Beaver's Center Township campus.The Feb. 17 program will feature a presentation on international beekeeping.
The Feb. 18 presentation offers a variety of programs, including "Honey Bee Breeding," "Innovative Ideas in Beekeeping" and Gourmet Cooking with Honey." Marla Spivak of the University of Minnesota will be the guest speaker both days, and other speakers are scheduled for Feb. 18.
Registration is $25, plus $20 for spouses and $10 for children. Registration, which includes lunch, must be made by Feb. 10.
