After 15 years of keeping an eye on the sky for killer bees, experts say the Africanized honey bee has replaced the European variety in Texas and all people can do is live with them. Concerns of killer bee activity were renewed Monday when a Tomas Berrones, 61, of Brownsville, died following a bee attack. So, the question remains if other such incidents could occur in the area.
