Honey Run Apiaries

Beekeeping Pictures - Page 1

One of our apiaries in the woods.

A group of our 5 frame mating nucs.

A queen on comb full on nectar. Sometimes they will cross honey.

Some larve and capped brood can be seen.

Bees on aster.

A honeybee on clover.

Honeybees on goldenrod.

A bee on a dandelion.

An open air hive. This was a swarm that settled 40 feet up in
a tree and setup their hive there. Normally they would move on
to a more suitable location. Unfortunately this swarm did not,
and while they did well during the summer, winter did them in quickly.
